Sneeze screen for counters and reception desks

The framed acrylic counter protection screen allows rapid installation of a stylish and professional looking perspex sneeze screen on a counter or reception desk to help reduce the risk of airborne transmission of diseases. For situations where an all-acrylic sneeze screen may present a temporary image, this modular glazed divider screen looks substantial and stylish. Installation of our counter sneeze screen can be undertaken by any practical member of staff without specialist tools or know-how.

The protection screen design combines anodised aluminium profiles which lock together with 4mm thick transparent acrylic panels. Acrylic is lighter and easier to handle than safety glass and is appropriate where the purpose of the counter safety screen is protection of staff from infection as opposed to armed robbery. However this counter protection screen does offer a reasonable level of physical protection when screwed down to the counter or reception desk.

Easy to assemble clear separator screen

This social distancing screen is a clear hygiene barrier which can stand on its own but will benefit from being screwed down to the reception desk for security. We stock 100cm high screens in two widths: 100cm and 120cm. The height stated is the height of the aluminium framework. The actual glazed window height is 87cm as the glazed panel can be adjusted up or down to create the desired height cut-out under the screen for handing over packages, entering card details etc. It is not intended as sliding hatch - the screen height has to be set and tightened up at the required height. The metal feet are 30cm (1ft) front to back and preferably these should not overhang the counter. So the screen may not be suitable for very narrow counter tops. Assembly instructions are included with each screen. The screw holes for securing the screen are 180 mm apart, fixing with screws is not essential but increases stability.

Continuous glazed screen system

Each counter sneeze screen module is a complete unit.To create a continuous glazed screen system individual modular screens can be butted together. There is no provision to join individual modules.

Other sizes of screen are available to order but there will be a lead time of up to 6 weeks. The available special order options are a narrower module width of 80cm; and a taller screen height of 120cm in three widths: 80cm, 100cm and 120cm. Different width modules can be combined to create the overall width of screen your require.
