White snap frames are white poster frames for displaying paper prints or notices on the wall. White A4 snap frame takes regular A4 paper or flyers. White A3 snap frame takes A3 prints, which deliver more impact as A3 is double the size of A4.
Like all our snap frames with 25mm profiles, these white click frames use the click open/snap shut mechanism for quick and easy insertion of any printed picture, sign or advertisement. Our snap frames are made from recyclable aluminium and come with a hard-wearing white paint finish. White snap frames are economical and robust frames bring made of metal. The white frames include the facility to insert prints from the front in seconds, without removing the frame from the wall.
White snap frames are suitable for locations ranging from beauty salons to doctors' or dentists' surgeries - and they also look attractive in the home or office.
White colour snap frames are available from stock in standard paper sizes: A4 and A3
A simple concealed fixing system makes for easy mounting by screws - or double-sided adhesive tape can be used.
A clear plastic cover sheet is included to protect your sign from spills or finger marks - the print protector has an anti-reflecting surface to cut down glare.
This white frame is suitable for any type of A4 or A3 paper insert, corresponding to the size of the frame.
Where can I use white snap frames?
You can use our high-quality white poster snap frames indoors with regular printer paper; we recommend using waterproof poster paper for use outdoors.
All sizes in this range of front-loading clip frames feature a backing panel to support the poster and enhance the colours printed on the poster.
The frame profile width for our stock white snap frames is 25mm (i.e. 1 inch wide border all round).
The paint finish is achieved by a process called powder coating. This gives a very smooth oven baked finish to the metal which is very resistant to chips and scratches.
The frame dimensions are defined by the poster size which they are designed to fit. The visible area is reduced by 10mm all round when the frame surround closes - so don't print any critical text right on the margin of the paper. The exterior frame size is 15mm all round larger than the poster size.
Screws and wall plugs are supplied with every frame. White snap frames are supplied individually boxed.

Snap frames are not designed for use with picture hooks although they can be used with proprietary fiixing strips, such as Command Strips.
Size Information for aluminium snap frames
The width of the surround is 2.5cm = 25mm or 1 inch
Front to back depth of 25mm profile snap frame: 12mm (approx 1/2 inch)
A4 relates to the size of paper an A4 frame will fit.
A narrow strip around the edge of your print is hidden when the frame is closed. Visible poster size: 22mm less than actual poster (i.e. 11mm all round your poster is hidden by the frame surround)

Fix snap frames using screws
The best way to permanently fix snap frame is with screws.
Screws and plastic wall plugs are included with every snap frame we supply
The wall plugs are for use with masonry walls such as brick and most plastered walls
When screwing onto wood the plugs are not needed
A power drill and screwdriver are required for screw fixing (and we recommend using a spirit level and tape measure to ensure the frames are properly aligned). If in doubt please consult a proficient DIY or trades person.
Fix snap frames using adhesive tape
Rolls of double-side adhesive tape are available as an accessory item.
If double-side adhesive tape is used to fix frames (in place of the screws supplied) please check the smoothness and suitability of the wall.
Tiles and similar surfaces may be suitable provided they are cleaned thoroughly before application.
Tape fixing is not suitable for surfaces with a non-stick coating or porous/foamed surfaces.
We recommend that tape is used around the full perimeter of the frame.
Larger frames are normally best screwed. A residue of foam tape will be left on the wall or door after removal of the frame and the frame will usually be hard to get off.
