Wall picture hanging kit - Wall hanging hardware from wires
Wall fixing picture hanging kits are perfect for hanging pictures with wire from neat wall anchors screwed to the wall. The wall fittings are unobtrusive and support the weight of most picture frames, provided that the wall is receptive to screw fixing. The picture hooks slide up the wires and lock on at the required height. Downwards adjustment is easy by depressing the button at the top of the hook, to temporarily release the secure internal wire gripper mechanism.
Smaller paintings and artwork can be hung on a single picture hanging wire. Larger frames should be hung using two kits. Where frames may be double-stacked on a singlewire (or pair of wires) the extra length of the 2m kits will be valuable. Excess wire can be coiled up and taped or clipped behind the bottom picture, or trimmed off with wire cutters. Extra hooks can be purchased and added as required - see Recommended Accessories.

The wall fittings are secured with 4mm diameter screws. The weight supported will depend on how sound the wall fixing is - up to 10kg per wire is generally safe when securing to sound masonary. If in doubt seek advice from an experienced DIYer or installer.
Drop wires are 1.5mm diameter 7x7 steel wire rope, with silvery galvanised or black finish.
Ceiling fixing alternatives are available, as are kits to hook onto a traditional picture rail.

The wall plugs we supply work fine in traditional masonary, such as plaster applied to brick walls. For dry lined walls we suggest you source different wall fixings and restrict the weight of pictures if you a just relying on fixing into plasterboard or other dry linings.

Any product returned by the purchaser must be unused and in its original packaging, which should be unmarked. If goods are received damaged or faulty we will take care of the problem.
