Front-loading black border frames are available in 5 sizes, A4, A3, A2, A1, and A0.
The print or photo is intended to fill the entire frame without a mountboard.
These black metal poster frames can be mounted in portrait or landscape orientation.
A semi-rigid gloss front cover with an elegant black border is secured by concealed magnetic strips set into the surround.
A discreet notch is provided to allow the cover to be lifted away for easy-load poster changes.
Hanging the frame on the wall
There are two ways to hang these easy-loading frames: with or without drilling the wall. See Assembly and Installation.
The poster cover conceals the fixing screws (which are included).
For wall hanging on picture pins or hooks, we offer adhesive hanging plates as an optional extra to stick to the back of the frame.
The small hanging plate accessory suits A4 and A3 frames. The large adhesive hanging plate suits A2 and A1 sizes. When hanging A0 frames on picture hooks we advise two large hanging plates - or use the supplied screws and wall plugs.

Sleek design poster frames
Al sizes of frame have the same sleek front-to-back depth of 13mm. The black surround is 15mm wide viewed from the front.
Black frame dimensions
The table shows the external frame size and the visible poster size in the clear part of the cover. Note that 9mm perimeter of the print is hidden behind the black surround. So please do not include critical information is this zone.

Mounting frames on the wall
There are two methods to hang frames: using screws (supplied) or proprietary picture hooks (not supplied).
Screw fixing
Black magnetic frames are supplied fully assembled. The glossy front poster cover should be removed prior to fixing with screws.
Plan the desired position of the frame, either portrait or landscape.
Use the holes visible in the frame surround to mark the fixing locations on the wall. Ensure you use a spirit level to check the frame is level.
Drill the wall to suit the wall plugs you intend to use - the plugs we supply will suit most wall types.
Screw the frame to the wall. Insert the poster and replace the cover sheet.
Picture hooks
Picture hooks or picture pins can often be hammered into a wall without drilling. Command hooks can be stuck to the wall. We do not supply these wall fixings but they are available from DIY stores etc.
To hang the frame on such picture hooks we offer Adhesive Mounting Plates - see Recommended Accessories. These are an optional extra.
The smal mounting plate is suitable for A4 and A3 frames. The large plate is for A2 and A1 frames. Two large mounting plates are required to support the heavier A0 size.
A solvent wipe is provided with each mounting plate to prepare the mounting area on the back of the frame. Allow solvent to evaporate completely before applying the plate.
Adhesive Mounting Plates used singly should be stuck to the top centre of the frame backing sheet, positioned hard up against the underside of the frame top member.
Apply the plate with firm pressure at room temperature to allow a good bond to develop.
The frame can now be hung on the picture hook or nail.
