Where can I use my Poster Clamps hanging bars?

Banner hanging bars can be used in a wide variety of places - from home to office or retail to exhibition spaces, wherever you want to hang a large or heavy poster or banner, this is the product for you. Hang from the wall like you would any traditional frame or use the sliding suspension eyes and one of our hanging wire sets to hang from the ceiling:

When should I use Poster Clamps?

Poster Clamps are just the ting for grabbing hold of hard-to-grip or slippery material such as vinyl. Also use to secure heavy materials and for tough applications, for example long banners of several metres drop.

Poster Clamps are not really suitable for substrates thicker than about 0.5mm (500 micron). It will be hard to close and re-open the poster clamping bar.  Typical banner substrates are 200 micron to 350 micron thick and Poster Clamps are suitable for hanging drop banners of this type.

Poster Clamp Joiners

Joiners are supplied as a pair allowing two sets of Poster Clamps to be joined together for very large displays:

• Remove the end caps and insert the joiner midway into both profiles
• Tighten the small thumbwheel from the back of the profile
• Ensure that each individual section is properly suspended

Using joiners offers further advantages: minimise damage caused by transit to very long profiles and reduce or avoid over-length carriage charges! Clamping graphics is also easier to achieve in sections and the join is barely visible from the front.
