Pressto – the premium display panel in a silver finish.

A superior display panel base, Pressto is beautifully engineered from aerofoil shape aluminium extrusions. These bases are designed to secure any type of display panel up the 30mm thickness (view more information tab).

The two halves are joined by a link profile catering for different panel thicknesses. Beneath the base there is a knurled hand wheel which tightens the grip holding any panel securely yet without stress. Even toughed glass panels are possible.

Silver aluminium profiles are robust and stable, with non slip rubber edging strips against the floor.
Sleek curved anodised aluminium finish looks elegant anywhere.
Various width profiles may be left open at each end or closed off with optional black end caps.
Pressto is a top-of-the-range vertical panel base. Can be used in pairs to support wider panels. A black version is also available.

Pressto Dimensions

Panels can be matched to the width of the Presto base or can protrude slightly beyond the base. The bases can be used in pairs for larger size panels (like a pair of feet spaced apart). The overall depth of the base is influenced slightly by the panel thickness, but is approximately 400mm front to back. Presto bases add about 140mm to the height of the display panel.

The maximum panel height indoors is generally 1600mm but it will depend on how top heavy the panel material is and on the type of location where the panel display will be situated. Outdoors much shorter panels should be used to prevent over toppling in wind. As a supplier of bases we cannot take responsibility for the stability and consequential safety of the finished display.

Panel Thickness

Pressto, which is branded as DigiPressto in Continental markets, features a two-position joiner profile to extend the thickness range of this versatile display panel base. In the lower position the range of acceptable panel thicknesses is adjustable from 4mm up to 15mm. When used in the upper position the base is specifically for 30mm thick panels, but a 20mm panel could be used by placing a 5mm spacer within the base on each to make up the gap.

Amount of Panel covered by base

The amount of panel lost in the Pressto base varies depending on the thickness of your panel. For panels up to 15mm the amount of panel covered by the base is 40-50mm. For thicker panels (30mm) the amount lost is 35-40mm.

Panel Types

Many types of panels and substrates can be used with Pressto bases including acrylic, honeycomb core composites such as Ultraboard, Quikaboard, Re-board Premium White Core from Oriam Green or rigid foamboard such as Smart-X (minimum 10mm thick) and even two sheets of toughened safety glass with a graphic print sandwiched between. A top clamp is available to keep the sheets together.

Many sign and digital print companies are able to offer a printing and customisation service for panels.
