Oversize covers for waterproof snap frames

Mistakes can be expensive.
Please carefully check the dimensions of the poster cover you are replacing before ordering!

There are many manufacturers of snap frames but only a few offer snap frames which can be correctly described as waterproof.  These incorporate a water-proof seal or gasket within the frame surrounding the recess where the poster sits.  The cover sheet has to seat properly onto this gasket or else water will enterthe frame causing damage to paper posters.

In some models the cover merely extends over the full width of the gasket.  This is a minumum requirement to achieve the desired effect.  In other models the cover extends some way beyond the gasket into the 'gutter' around the frame.  This is a common (but not universal) situation with waterbase signs advertised as 'waterproof' but it can also apply to some makes of wall-mounted waterproof snap frames. 

So please do not rely on our generalised product descriptions.  Work from the dimensions stated above!  If you are not confident measuring accurate sizes in mm please seek assistance from someone who can help you.
