Description
Folded PVC pocket - A4 U-pocket
U-pockets are made from folded clear PVC to protect your A5 printed POS from dust and finger marks.
PVC U-pockets help support your paper insert within an A5 slot-in frame to prevent it from sagging or crinkling.
The clear plastic sleeve has an anti-glare finish. So unlike glossy plastic sleeves there are no distracting reflections from store lighting.
A U-pocket will not protect paper inserts from rain or humidity. For that you need to laminate your POS and also use a Slim Frame which is oversized to accept laminated A5 prints.
U-pockets are made from thin PVC sheet, usually 200 to 400 micron thick.
These folded plastic pockets should only be used in conjunction with a POS frame.
They are not suitable for outdoor use as they do not seal the paper from ingress of water.
Sometimes U-pockets are called poster protectors, but we prefer to use that term for single-layer clear plastic sheets, as opposed to these double-layer pockets made with a fold.
